EXPERIENCE VENICE - A Quality of Life Beyond Compare!

If you are thinking of making a change in your way of life, Think Venice

This area offers beautiful beachfront, bay front and waterfront homes as well as homes located inland. Besides the view of the Gulf, spectacular sunsets and 14 miles of white sandy beaches, Venice has something to offer young and old alike. We are a playground of outdoor activities and water sports, including lighted municipal tennis courts, yacht club, community theater and professional dinner theater, art center, two outstanding libraries, concerts in the park, and plenty of shopping in the historic "Main Street" downtown area.

In fact, Venice is know for its Historic Main Street business district filled with charming gift shops, boutiques, antique stores, and many restaurants and coffee houses and it beautiful, historic residential areas. Take a drive down West Venice Avenue and you'll notice massive banyan trees and live oaks draped with Spanish moss. Stately Mediterranean Revival style houses line the avenue with beautiful wrought iron door and window details, lovely archways, and mysterious, shady courtyards. The Northern Italian Renaissance architecture created a town of grace and beauty. When you reach the end of Venice Avenue, you've reached the Gulf of Mexico.

We have a beach to match your interest. Venice Beach- Reef divers love Venice Beach because of the reef lying only a quarter mile off-shore. North Jetty Beach is popular for fishing and picnics. Caspersen Beach- Pristine and secluded, is a nature lovers' paradise. The southern two -thirds of the beach has been left in its natural state, with freshwater and saltwater marshes, mangroves and tidal flats. Nokomis beach-Sarasota's oldest public beach offers a boat launch ramp, fishing, and a picnic area. Brohard Beach hosts one of the county's doggie beaches.

There are also a number of outstanding golf course communities featuring challenging golf and custom built villas and estate homes. Collecting prehistoric shark's teeth has been a favorite pastime of visitors and residents for years and has given Venice the title of "Sharks Tooth Capital of the World." Walkers and roller bladers will love the Venetian Waterway Park. Well-lit and beautifully landscaped, it offers an almost 10 mile sidewalk trail along the Intra-coastal Waterway.

Now this is a great town. You have just got to visit us. What you have always wanted is probably here with us in Venice. Come experience Venice.
