Mackinaw City is only 15 miles, featuring the Mackinac Bridge leading into the Upper Peninsula and boasting many, many shops. Ferry boats take passengers to Mackinac Island.

The quaint town of Indian River features the Cross in the Woods, which is the World's Largest Crucifix.

Of course there are three beautiful public courses, the Cheboygan Golf & Country Club with 18 holes, the Indian River Golf Club with 18 holes and the Mullett Lake Golf & Country Club with 9 holes.

Snowmobilers and skiers love this part of Michigan. Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands, two of Michigan's finest full service ski resorts are located within a short distance. Snowmobilers will find over 300 miles of groomed trails easily accessible from most motels in the area. The extensive upper peninsula trail system is now accessible by trailer service across the Mackinac Bridge.
