The downtown district is, as always, alive with historic structures, quality shops and spacious office housing. Many of the more industrial business in and around Fenton are largely automobile-related but more space is available for new tenants and corporations.

Known for it's quality education for all ages, Fenton area schools are dedicated to providing for each and every child. Enthusiasm, commitment and pride all work together in our faculty and staff to ensure first-class education from kindergarten to graduation. Three elementary schools that house students in grades K-5, a middle school with more 800 students and the Fenton Public High School that allows students choose between 132 different courses, including advanced placement and college prep classes.

Area lakes and sports are available to all of Fenton's citizens and provide a wonderful, safe, and fun part of the Greater Fenton Area! 52 lakes in all, including 6 all-sport lakes surround the Fenton area, providing significant area for water-skiing, jet-skiing, boating, fishing and more! Ice fishing, hockey and more come to the fore when the weather turns chilly, as well as skiing and snowboarding. Parks and other outdoor venues, such as Pine Knob Music Theatre, are available for a more tranquil, peaceful setting.
